WELCOME BACK, KNIGHTS!

The 2025-2026 school year begins on August 18th with all 1st through 12th grade students.

Kindergarten students with last names A-M will begin August 21st.

Kindergarten students with last names N-Z will begin August 22nd.

ALL Kindergarten students will report on August 25th.

All parents must complete back-to-school forms for each student in their family at the start of the new school year. Parents will receive reminders to complete back-to-school forms via email using Final Forms.

School fees for the 2025-2026 school year will help support opportunities for your student in the classroom. Families can pay school fees on the PaySchools Central website.

There will be a table at the 8-12 Open House and the K-6 Open House on both August 13th and August 14th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for parents to pay school fees or ask questions.

Bus routes will be posted on the front doors of our K-12 campus building and the Greenon Schools Website at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 8th. If you have route questions, please contact the transportation department at 937-340-6352.

If you have transportation changes for the new school year, please complete your back-to-school forms, which include transportation information and changes, on Final Forms.

The transportation department will be present at both the 8-12 Open House and the K-6 Open House on August 13th and August 14th to answer questions from families. During the K-6 Open House, the transportation department will be available for students to meet drivers, become familiar with the buses, and for parents to ask questions. 

Do you need out-of-district transportation?  Please complete the Out of District Transportation Form. 

All teachers and staff will use the Rooms two-way communication feature in the Greenon Local Schools app. If you need assistance setting up your Rooms account, visit our Rooms Support Page or contact Vana Beekman, Communications and Community Relations Coordinator.

There will be booths for students and parents to visit at our Open Houses.

Stop by the school fees booth to pay school fees or ask questions, the transportation booth for bus route and transportation questions, the latchkey booth for elementary latchkey information, and the food services booth to add money to school meal accounts or for other questions related to food services!

August 11, 2025: 7th Grade Orientation (5:30 pm-7:30 pm)
August 13, 2025: 8th-12th Grades Open House (Students Last Name A-M- 5:00 pm-6:00 pm, Students Last Name N-Z: 6:00 pm-7:00 pm)
August 14, 2025: 1st-6th Grades Open House (Students Last Name A-M- 5:00 pm-6:00 pm, Students Last Name N-Z: 6:00 pm-7:00 pm)
August 20, 2025: Kindergarten Open House (Students Last Name A-M- 5:00 pm-6:00 pm, Students Last Name N-Z: 6:00 pm-7:00 pm)

Schedules for 7th graders will be provided during 7th Grade Orientation on Monday, August 11th. Schedules for 8th through 12th-grade students will be available at the 8th—12th Open House on August 13th.

Class lists for 1st-6th grades will be posted on the doors of our K-12 campus at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 8th.

Kindergarten class lists will be available during the Kindergarten Open House on Wednesday, August 20th from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm.

Kindergarten screening will take place on August 18th and 19th. If you have not scheduled a screening session, please email Mr. Kyle Phelps, Greenon Elementary Principal, at kphelps@greenonschools.org for screening information.  

Kindergarten students with last names starting with A-M will attend school on Thursday, August 21st, and will not attend on Friday, August 23rd.

Kindergarten students with last names starting with N-Z will not attend school on Thursday, August 21st, but will attend on Friday, August 22nd.

All kindergarten students will begin attending together on Monday, August 25th.

Morning Hours are: 6:30 am- 8:15 am

Afternoon Hours are: 3:15 pm - 5:30 pm

Each year, volunteers are required to submit a Volunteer Release Form before volunteering in our buildings.
